Find Out How Joe “The Inn Keeper” is Using Video Email Marketing

The post below is a direct cut and paste from a three-email thread that transpired between Joe “The Inn Keeper” and one of his contacts.  The links to in the video email messages are live!  This thread is a great example of how you can leverage video email to add a layer of depth to enhance a text based email communication.

I’m glad the video e-mail was something you had not seen. Tell Lisa and Mark (forward this message) that its the kind of innovative cutting edge technology I want for the new website that your company should build once we make our decision on a vendor. A website that’s a bit out of the box. Not so cookie cutter. A trend setter. New and interesting. It only takes imagination and some creativity within the confines of your proposed budget.

That’s why I mentioned a “live chat box” to Lisa when we met at the conference. But she said it was tried without much success.

For sure, we could do a series of videos (from Jivesystems) answering questions about our rooms, location, things to see and do, etc. For example, the guests could click on “click here for the most popular things to do” or  “click here for this month’s special package offer” or click here for the Innkeeper’s value rate of the day” These are not perfect productions, but they are real. Again, just trying to think out of the box.

Of course, if there is something also newer and more forward looking, we would like to have that on our website. I will let your staff and Mark have a go of it.
