Video Email: It Is A Matter of Trust
For over three years, I have been using video email to establish trust and build rapport with new contacts. Sometimes I send a personalized video email, other times I use an evergreen video email (a generic video email that has been pre-recorded). Either way, the method is simple: I send every new contact that I make a video email message.

When you send a video email right out of the gate, after a first phone call with a new lead, it changes the dynamics of the sales cycle. The silent objection “Why should I trust you?” is removed. Unlike web video (e.g. a YouTube video or a video embedded into a landing page), video emails are quick and easy to create and send.
Video emails are also perceived differently than web videos. Think about it: when you see a slick looking landing page with a video embedded into it, what do you think? “They must be selling me something!” By contrast, a video email feels like a regular email, a personalized communication from you to them. This is the primary reason why video email works so effectively.
