An Alternative to Kajabi (at 1/10 of the cost)?

So, Kajabi has launched and I have signed up for my free trial.  But in my opinion, Kajabi still needs quite a bit of work.  I expect it will be a couple of months before Kajabi is truly usable.   It is not surprising because the system is has the potential the be very powerful (based on the features offered and planned: squeeze page generator, membership sites, web video marketing, and more).

But I need a web video squeeze page system now!  So I sifted through my watch list and as it turns out, Easy Video Player is just about to launch Easy Video Player 2.

Create Video Landing Pages w/ Easy

The product is very similar to Kajabi, and can in fact be used with Kajabi. Mike Filsame, for the AffiliateDotCom launch, used Kajabi and Easy Video Player 2.

You don’t get the super cool members area with time release posts, but you do get the slick web video landing page creation system.  Unlike Kajabi, which has a $97 per month base price, Easy Video Player 2 is a $127 one-time fee.

The System Comes w/ Features Like…

There’s more than just that: this thing does split-testing (and not the annoying kind where you need to log back in and review the results).   You can set it to automatically pick and use the best video based on your desired result.

Easy Video Player 2 is going to launch on October the 19th.   The early bird special has already started (a one-time payment of $97).  The ability to get a video squeeze page up in a few minutes has me drooling over this product saying, “Why didn’t I think of that?”

To learn more, check out the launch videos (which are much shorter than the ones for Kajabi).

As always, I am here to serve.   If you have any questions, please feel to leave a comment below.

I also signed up for the KAJABI trial but so far I haven’t been able to get very far and am wondering. Is this “EastVideoPlayer 2 ” a viable alternative? Where are the videos hosted? What about “Web Video University”? I am definitely wanting to do this but really don’t know which direction to go? any help would be appreciated.

East Video Player 2 is a landing site (most likely by an affiliate) for Easy Video Player 2. Web Video University is geared toward training you on the web video production process. And jiveSYSTEMS is for video email marketing (producing videos straight from a webcam).

Do you want to create video landing pages (and have the technical knowledge to produce videos)? Pick: Easy Video Player 2
Do you want to learn how to record and edit videos? Pick: Web Video University.
Do you want to send video emails quickly and easily? Pick: jiveSYSTEMS.

I use all three and several more. No one company does everything.

Here is my update on the product:

I bought Easy Video Player 2 at around 0900hrs today. Their servers we choking, so it took a few attempts to get my order to go through. Having a load balancer to handle launch traffic of such magnitude is not an easy task, but they had it up and running in no time (which is a good sign).

Now, I don’t like the business model and mechanics; an info marketer style launch doesn’t do the product justice. But, if you are willing to look past their geeky marketing approach (the alien technology message), you will likely see an awesome and affordable product that will assist you with selling your products and/or services.

It will take a little bit of effort for you to get the system functioning (it’s kinda like installing wordpress on your hosting account), and Easy Video Player 2 is not a magic bullet… but once you have it set up, you will be able to publish video squeeze pages with a few clicks of the mouse.

For a one-time investment of $97, I am very impressed.
